Identify common and subtle presentations of seat belt injuries, including delayed-onset symptoms.
Implement evidence-based protocols for the timely assessment and management of seat belt-related trauma.
Apply appropriate diagnostic imaging strategies, including Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma and computed tomography, based on patient stability and presentation.
Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare providers to deliver effective and comprehensive care for individuals with seat belt–related injuries.
